Gumball Story
Since I was a kid I've enjoyed rolling my feet over the fallen gumballs covering the ground.
I was camping alone at the lake one morning sitting in forward bend pose on my mat surrendering to nature and the inner-stillness, when a single gumball fell from the tree above, and landed right under my nose between my legs.
The gumball seemed ordinary, like all the many others around, but after closely looking I was sure it was unique, as well as the others.
I decided to sketch that particular gumball, and then carve that sketch into a piece of relief print material gifted to me.
I use that carving as a relief print stamp that I've printed on objects around me. The same image I use as a logo to symbolize the uniqueness, and oneness in nature.
I haven't decided if I'll make it a tattoo yet, but it will represent this art, and business project to connect with people, and help them tell their story.
